You will experience the integrity of nature in Munkudil Retreat. The elegant "Kannur" stone work conveys the real sense of solidity, permanence and beauty.   The thick mud walls constructed in the lower level keeps the sun outside and cools inside.

Start with local Indian cow and bull(kasaragod dwarf pair) is the main centre of the theme. Here our land is totally chemical free, and architecture more than 75% from natural materials. Coming to land and vegetation first, the cow dung from the local Indian cows are rich in microorganisms(more than 100 times than modern breeds), which is the main feed to land is chemical free, there is no green house gas emissions and hence no ozone layer weakening.

~ HOW COWS THE CENTRAL THEME ~

The cow dung and urine goes to a bio-gas plant as well, which gives cooking gas for kitchen. Slurry and separated cow dung to plants, and urine is processed to give plants as pesticides.. Urine of cow is distilled and used as a cleaning agent as well. Plants receives cow dung, slurry and dead leaves as food, and that plants and grass, back to food for cows.

This is one of our prime considerations, and still working on to meet that wastage as output and no stuff to buy from market, kind of a self sustaining are seriously working for betterment, and planning to get lease lands, for own vegetation sustainability and so on.

Using the fish waste of aquarium fishes, old garbage fridge boxes, old gravel, old broken clay tiles and PVC pipes, which was garbage after construction here, it was able to create one cent of land in air for organic fresh developed land cost here is approx Rupees 5 lack per cent and all we spent is just Rs. 25000/- (around 38$) for the start we make fresh and healthy vegetables from waste material platform.

House boat, wind turbines, leasing one acre of land for organic crops etc are to implemented very soon here.
